Why GoodRollout exists

Gulf banks are moving fast on AI for fraud and customer service. Most coverage is press releases. We check what was actually launched, for whom, and under which rules.

What we cover

How banks in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman roll out AI in two areas: fraud detection (real-time payment checks, mule accounts, authentication) and customer service (assistants, chatbots, branch avatars), plus the central bank rules that govern both.

How we report

Every story names the bank, the date and the source. We prefer primary sources: bank releases, central bank rulebooks and official guidelines. Vendor-published results are labelled as vendor-reported. If we cannot find a primary source, we say so in the story.

Every rollout also sits on our rollout board, by stage: announced, pilot, live, or rules and deadlines.

Who writes it

Stories are written by the GoodRollout desk, edited by [Editor name and short bio].

How we are funded

[Funding model, for example: self-funded / clearly labelled newsletter sponsorship]. No bank or vendor pays for coverage or sees a story before publication.
